Corporate Partnership Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES:The Corporate Partnership Intern will prospect for new clients and report directly to the Corporate Partnerships Department.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Corporate Partnerships Intern will:
* Building strong relationships with sponsors by giving excellent customer service.
* Work with Corporate Partners to coordinate and execute game day promotions prior to and during games
* Customer service calls to accounts prior to and immediately following their event.
* Review contracts for proper execution and coordination of the fulfillment process.
* Prospect and canvas local and national businesses for sponsorship calls.
* Help organize and facilitate sponsor nights or events.
* Assist with Stadium operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* College student that has at least completed sophomore year.
* Energetic and enthusiastic.
* Must be a “team player”.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
* Willing to offer ideas and suggestions.
* Punctual and professional.
* Willing to work a flexible schedule, including and especially nights and weekends

Group Sales Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Service, maintain, and create group clients: to include party decks, suite parties, Little League parties, birthday parties, and standard group outings for Spring Training and the Minor League season
* Prospect for new business opportunities, adding new clients
* Assist in the creation and selling of group theme nights to attract a new market segment
* Prospect group outings to companies, local organizations, and youth groups via face-to-face meetings, cold calls, networking events, mailings and email
* Assist in numerous other activities associated with the day-to-day business of a professional baseball team

GAME DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Attend every home game during Spring Training and over 80 games during the Minor League season
* Attend to Season Ticket Holders and Group clients with an emphasis on professionalism and unsurpassed customer service
* Assist and participate in any/all in game promotions and promotional giveaways

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Professional attitude and attire is necessary
* Creative, hard working and dedicated
* Team player with an exceptional customer service attitude
* Strong computer skills are a plus

Grounds Operations Intern - OPEN

DUTIES: The Grounds Operations Intern will report directly to the Heads Groundskeeper and will supervise a part-time grounds-keeping staff of five to six individuals.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Grounds Operations Intern will:
* Assist in game day field preparations for the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals
* Assist in field preparations on practice fields for Extended Spring Training, Gulf Coast League and other scheduled events
* Assist in summer Bermuda turf cultural practices, fertilization, pesticide applications, and irrigation repairs

Inventory Control Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Inventory Control intern position revolves around the operation of the warehouse for Roger Dean Stadium’s Team Store. Their responsibilities include organizing, receiving/counting new merchandise, distributing merchandise to portable and store locations, helping process orders and using the computerized inventory system. Individual must be organized, have computer skills and be able to lift at least 40 lbs. This is a great opportunity to work for two Major League Baseball teams (Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals) as well as the Class A affiliate teams (Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals).

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Merchandising Intern must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and possess internet skills.

Marketing Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Marketing Intern will assist the marketing Staff with Sponsorships by gathering artwork/public address scripts prior to Spring Training with the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals and prior to the Florida State League season with the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals. In addition, the marketing intern will coordinate the game day promotions during the game.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: The Marketing Intern must be a well-organized individual with strong verbal communication skills who will assist in retrieving information from sponsors and has the ability to work extended hours if needed.

Merchandising Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Merchandising Intern position revolves around the operation of the Team Store at Roger Dean Stadium. Responsibilities include working with vendors, helping in the selection of team merchandise, creating displays, processing orders, updating the Team Store website, and using the computerized inventory system for the two major league baseball teams (Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals) as well as the Class A affiliate teams (Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals).

Minor League Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Minor League Intern will report directly to the General Manager of Minor League Operations.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Minor League Intern will:
* Be responsible for coordinating all of the details of the “Knothole Gang Kids Club” including tracking enrollment and planning weekly activities
* Sell various ticket packages for special programs and promotions throughout the season, including Education Days, Recreation Days, and Little League nights
* Be responsible for coordinating mascot and player appearances throughout the community
* Be responsible for coordinating such game day activities as Launch-A-Ball and the Prize Wheel
* Help to maintain the policies of the stadium with regard to customer service and other issues of stadium operations
* Assist in numerous other activities associated with the day-to-day business of a professional baseball team

Parking Operations Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Parking Operations Intern will report directly to the Director of Stadium Operations and will help supervise a part-time staff of 10 to 20 individuals.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Parking Intern will:
* Assist in the training and supervision of a part-time staff in all aspects of parking operations
* Assist the Stadium Operations Manager in running all aspects of parking operations including reconciliation of monies and directing traffic flow
* Help in maintaining the policies of the stadium with regard to customer service and the day-to-day operations of the parking area * Assist in the scheduling and payroll of part-time parking staff
* Assist the Stadium Operations Manager in other areas of facility operations including the press box, stadium operations and ticket office

Press Box Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Press Box Intern will help supervise a part-time press box staff of five to six individuals.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Press Box Intern will:
* Be responsible for overseeing the game-day operations of the press box including the public address system, music, video board and scoreboard operation
* Be responsible for the training and supervision of part-time staff in all areas of the press box
* Assist in maximizing the entertainment value for fans during Spring Training and Florida State League season through the use of a state-of-the-art press box
* Be responsible for the scheduling and payroll of press box staff
* Assist in establishing a relationship with local media through daily press releases
* Be responsible for updating the website on a daily basis
* Be responsible for reporting player moves to the league and to Minor League Baseball
* Operate video board/ message center during during all home games
* Be responsible for writing weekly player features during the FSL season
* Be responsible for writing “Game Notes” for each home game
* Coordinate the production of the team baseball card set

Stadium Operations Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Stadium Operations Intern will report directly to the Director of Stadium Operations and will help supervise a part-time stadium staff of 60-80 individuals.

EXPERIENCS/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Stadium Operations Intern will:
* Assist in the training and supervision of part-time stadium staff in all aspects of security and game-day operations
* Assist the Stadium Operations Manager in running all aspects of stadium operations including security, parking, programs, concourse entertainment and in-park staff
* Help to maintain stadium policies regarding customer service and other issues
* Assist the Stadium Operations Manager in leading part-time staff with regard to customer service and day-to-day operations
* Assist in the reconciliation of monies from other areas of operations including parking, programs and concourse entertainment

Ticket Office Intern
(Position Filled for 2010 Season)

DUTIES: The Ticket Office Intern will help supervise a part-time ticket office staff of eight to 12 individuals and will work with a six-person sales team on group and season tickets.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS: The Ticket Office Intern will:
* Acquire a working knowledge of the TicketMaster System
* Assist in the training and supervision of the part-time ticket office staff in all aspects of selling season, group, mini-plan and individual tickets
* Assist in the printing of season, group and mini-plan tickets
* Assist the ticket manager in running the office
* Help in maintaining the policies of the ticket office with regard to customer service and other ticketing issues
* Assist in the execution of mailing season ticket renewals, mini-plans and invoicing
* Help maintain accounts database utilizing GoldMine and TicketMaster
* Assist the Ticket Manager in leading part-time staff with regard to customer service and day-to-day operations of the ticket office
* Assist in reconciliation of monies from other areas of operations including parking, programs and concourse entertainment
