JUPITER, FL –Dog Days of Summer will be back this Saturday, June 27th with the Jupiter Hammerheads hosting the Clearwater Threshers with first pitch at 6:05pm. This month, Dog Days of Summer is welcoming the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Animal Kindness Unit. The first 1,000 children through the gates will receive a trading card of Dillon, the newest canine in the Animal Kindness Unit. Since its inception, over 3,000 dogs have visited Roger Dean Stadium with their owners. Future Dog Days of Summer dates include July 25th, and August 22nd.
On each of these nights, dogs will be admitted into the stadium for the baseball game with a $5.00 purchase of a “Pooch Pass”. The pass is good for all remaining Dog Days of Summer dates. All proceeds from the “Pooch Pass” will benefit local dog related not-for-profits such as Friends of Jupiter Beach and the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Game tickets for dog owners are $8.50. Dog lovers will have their very own sections of the stadium and many dog-related businesses will be on hand throughout the concourse.
